Shipping Options:

Our default shipping options are as follows:

Standard: UPS, Ground
Express: UPS, 2nd Day Air
Overnite: UPS, Next Day Air

Please email us if you would prefer to use a different shipping method or carrier. Also note that UPS/FedEx WILL NOT deliver to a P.O. Box.

Messenger delivery service in Manhattan starts at $25 and is available upon request.

PLEASE NOTE: The chart above is based on shipping to the contiguous 48 United States, and rates vary by distance from New York. An additional $15.00 freight surcharge will be added to shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

Shipping Charges for international shipments or orders above $600 in total value will be calculated after check out. We will contact you for approval before proceeding with your order.


Domestic Shipping Policies:

Orders are normally shipped within 5 working / business days. We will contact you if an item that is not marked “Backordered” happens to be out of stock unless we expect the item to be available within a few days. Beyond that point we will notify you of any delays.

Orders must be received before 11:00 a.m. EST to be shipped the same day. We do not process or ship orders Saturday, Sunday or on Shipping Holidays.


Orders Containing Insects or Other Extremely Fragile Items:

It is HIGHLY RECCOMENDED that you select Express Delivery to minimize time in transit and thus prevent possible damage to your order. Orders will not be shipped over the weekend for the same reason – orders will be held to ship until the following Monday. We cannot guarantee the frames or insects will arrive intact using ground shipping.


Damaged Items:

In the event that your merchandise arrives damaged, contact us immediately at custserv@theevolutionstore.com. Please note that you must save the original box and all the packing material from your order so that we can file a claim with the carrier. We will then arrange for the carrier to pick up your damaged item.


International Shipping Policies:

The Evolution Store gladly ships internationally. We will contact you shortly after we receive your order to tell you the shipping cost and delivery time for your order, as it will NOT be automatically displayed at checkout. We will wait for your approval before proceeding with your order. If you would like to know your shipping cost BEFORE checkout, please email us with your shipping address and the list of items you would like to order.

International shipping costs do not include any taxes, duties or customs fees, which are your responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what fees you may have to pay.


International Wildlife Policies:

International orders containing animal products require an export permit (Form 3-177) to be filed with the US Fish and Wildlife department.

The cost and processing time for The Evolution Store to file all required paperwork is as follows:

NON-CITES Permit: $143 and up to 60 day processing time in addition to shipping cost and time.

CITES Permit: $361 and up to 90 day processing time in addition to shipping cost and time.

Animal products are any items that contain genuine wildlife. Some examples are: bones, taxidermy, insects, plants, seashells, coral, skin and fur. Animal products on our website will display the message “For orders outside of US please click here” below the “add to cart” button. All CITES products will be marked as such in the item’s description. Fossils are NOT considered wildlife and do not require a permit to be exported.

Return Policy

You may exchange or return for a refund or a store credit (less shipping charges) any item sold online within 10 days of receipt. Store credit is valid for one year. Please contact us prior to returning merchandise. Please note that we are not responsible for shipping charges on returned merchandise. Merchandise returned C.O.D. will not be accepted.


Payment Methods

We accept as payment: Credit Card, PayPal, Wire Transfer, Check, or Gift Certificate. We also accept official Purchase Orders from educational institutions.

We accept the following credit cards: American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, Mastercard and Visa.

The only acceptable forms of payment for international orders are American Express, PayPal, and wire transfer. Customers may input their American Express credit card information during checkout. If you would like to pay via PayPal or wire transfer, please contact us at custserv@theevolutionstore.com.

Please contact us before placing your order if you would like to use any payment method other than Credit Card.
