Parrots in Dome

There are over 370 species of Parrots in the world. Most of them live in warm, tropical regions, especially in South America and the transnational region of Australasia. Most parrots can be distinguished by their strongly curved bill.

These parrots have been mounted in a long, oval dome. They are perched on a small, treelike branch, complete with foliage. The most unique feature of this piece is the hand-painted background.
