51-Piece Water Buffalo Horn Skull Necklace – Bubalus bubalis

This Necklace is composed of 51 skull beads which have each been hand-carved from water buffalo horn. From the largest skull in the middle of the necklace, the beads gradually decrease in size as they move outwards.

Water buffalo are large, domestic bovine animals and are frequently kept as livestock in southern Asia, from whence they have been introduced around the world.
