African Lion Skin Rug

Second only to the tiger in size, the African Lion is considered one of the most amazing big cats. Unusually social, they are estimated to have evolved about a million years ago in the savannahs of Africa. Lions live and hung in packs, and are the dominant predators in their environment.

This lion is a young male – notice his budding mane. This specimen is unique because of its exceptional quality. Great attention has been paid to capturing the lion's intimidating snarl, piercing green eyes, and razor sharp teeth. The black felt lining will help to ensure many years of enjoyment.

This wildlife product has been identified as a protected species by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). This means that it cannot be exported outside of the US without special permits issued by the US Fish & Wildlife Service.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to obtain such permits for this particular specimen.
