Bearded Dragon Lizard - Pogona vitticeps

The Bearded Dragon is a member of the Pogona genus and native to Australia. They grow up to 24” long and have a broad triangular head and flattened body. They have an expandable pouch under their jaw resembling a beard, hence their name.

Bearded Dragons bask most of the day, absorbing the heat they need to digest their food!
