Beautiful Abalone

Beautiful Abalone is a type of edible sea snail native to the waters off of Eastern Polynesia. The holes that line the edge of the Beautiful Abalone's shell are used for the snail's respiration. The inside of the shell is lined with nacre, also known as mother-of-pearl.
