Boa Skull

The Boa is a large, heavy bodied snake that lives Central America, South America and some islands in the Carribean. They thrive in a variety of environments, from tropical rainforests to arid semi-desert regions. They favor the rainforest for its humidity, natural cover from predator and vast range of potential prey. The Boa is both a skillful swimmer and climber, and can often be found along rivers or atop trees. It also can overtake the burrows of small mammals, where it can hide from predators. It feeds primarily on small mammals and birds, but will also eat larger mammals and lizards if available.

This wildlife product has been identified as a protected species by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). This means that it cannot be exported outside of the US without special permits issued by the US Fish & Wildlife Service.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to obtain such permits for this particular specimen.
