Boston Terrier Skull

The Boston Terrier is known as “The American Gentleman” because of his dapper appearance and gentle manner. Boston Terriers were bred after the Civil War in Boston, Massachussetts as a cross between the English Bulldog and the White English Terrier. Although they were originally bred to be fighting dogs, Boston Terriers are known to be lively and well-mannered. They are small and compactly built, usually weighing 10-25 pounds. Boston Terriers are usually black with white on their fave and chest, but can also be various shades of brown. The skull of Boston Terrier is square and flat on top, with flat cheeks, a short muzzle and erect, alert ears.
