Domestic Cat Skeleton

Felis catus, or, the common housecat, is known as a furry, cuddly companion, dependent on it's human counterpart.  the anatomy of the cat, however, reveals that it is a tough, nimble, ready-for-action survivor in it's own right.

The cat's agile and flexible body consists of about 240 bones, depending on the number of tail bones.  It is fiercely adept at killing small prey.
