Chipmunk - Tamias striatus
Chipmunks are small squirrel-like rodents found across North America. Named for their bird-like chirping calls, they are distinguishable from squirrels by their reddish-brown as opposed to gray or black fur.
Chipmunks store food, such as nuts, bulbs, seeds, fruits, mushrooms, insects, worms, bird eggs, and berries, in their large cheek pouches, which are also used for transporting dirt when they dig their boroughs!
Individual specimens vary but your item will resemble the pictured example.
