Your imagination is the limit. Come to us with your ideas and our skilled staff will work with you to make just what you are looking for. You can choose from a variety of butterflies, beetles and other bugs, custom frames of any size or glass display domes. Over the past 18 years we have had custom orders from decorators, private collectors, individual artists and more. Our work has been featured in various arts and news publications, including New York Magazine, The New York Times, Vogue, Antenna and Daily Candy. The Evolution Store houses its own entomology department with a professional entomologist and skilled full time artisans. We spread and frame all insects, make all of our own frames, and welcome custom orders.

Our Frames

Frames are made of Hardwood Ash and are available in Black, Natural, or White but can also be finished in a color of your choice. They come with glass front and back, or glass front with solid back.

Hanging on a wall or sitting on a desk, in the bedroom or an office, Evolution Framed Insects make great decorations for any space

Our Stock Frames come in available sizes listed below. All frames can be displayed horizontally or vertically. Custom sizes are also available.

Uncle Marc!

Marc Peeters is an expert
craftsman who creates all of
the frames for our Entomology
department by hand. Marc is
the brother-in-Law of Bill Stevens,
owner & founder of The
Evolution Store. He is also
Uncle to our Business Manager,
Julianna Stevens.

Marc's workshop is located in
Walton, NY. where he practices
his world-class artisanry.
