The forest weaver is a member of the Plocedae family found in Africa and tropical Asia. They have a dark brown or black upper side, and a bright yellow underside with a black beak and feet. Weavers get their name from the large woven nests many species make. These elaborate structures of grass and twigs may be suspended from a branch or have tubular entrance extensions.
