The grey wolf is the largest member of the wild dog family, and can weigh in at up to 80 pounds. A cousin of the domestic dog, wolves have lived in competition with humans for thousands of years. Known for their strength and speed, wolves are vicious predators.
These majestic creatures are typically grey and white. This specimen is unique, then, in its darker pigmentation. Its face is black flecked with white. A darker stripe runs down its back, while its sides are light grey.
