Zebra Finch in Dome

Taeniopygia guttata

The Zebra Finch is naturally widely found throughout Australia, Indonesia, and Timor-Leste. More recently, it has also been introduced to North and South America. They thrive in habitats in proximity to water.

This Zebra Finch has been mounted in a tall glass dome with an antique-style base, which has been distressed to show hints of red and brown. The finch is surrounded by long grasses and unique flowers.
