The giant blue morpho is a member of the Morphinae family and is found in South America, especially in Peru. The Morpho didius is most famous for its giant iridescent and metallic blue wings.

THE STORY

These necklaces feature genuine giant blue morpho wings. The bezel is cast from genuine sterling silver, and the wing is encased between two panes of glass, so that the patterns on both sides of the wing can be viewed.

    The morpho didius butterfly wing necklace is absolutely beautiful. It comes in 2 sizes, be sure to ask for guidance if the sizes are not listed on the website. Also-a nod to the customer service dep't-I had some issues ordering the correct size necklace but the service team was wonderfully helpful and accommodating. I gave this as a gift to the professor who mentored my daughter, as she was the one who "gave my daughter her wings." It was well received!
