Ostriches are the world's largest and tallest living birds adult males average 8'2" in height and weight up to 350lbs. They live in parties containing a single male and about 3 or 4 females. Several females lay in a common nest and the full "clutch" may contain as many as 50 eggs. The male and one of the females are responsible for most of the incubation and care of the young. Our decorative eggs come from farm raised ostriches and were determined to be unfertilized before being emptied. Includes wooden ring stand.
