Purple Spotted Swallowtail Butterfly Earrings

The Purple Spotted Swallowtail is a small member of the Papilionidae family and is found in the highlands of New Guinea. The Graphium weiskei is one of very few butterflies that have a deep purple in their wings.

These earrings feature genuine Purple Spotted Swallowtail wings. The bezel is cast from genuine sterling silver, and the wing is encased between two panes of glass, so that the patterns on both sides of the wing can be viewed.
