I placed an order online. When will it ship?
Most orders ship the very next business day! Please do allow up to three business days, though, for processing. Once your order is processed, it will be shipped using the carrier and speed you selected at checkout.
My order is delayed. Why haven’t I received it yet?
We know how frustrating it can be to have to wait, but some of our items do require extra processing time. These include:
Framed insects: These are made to order. Please allow two weeks.
Extra fragile items: We may need to build special boxes to ship certain items safely, such as taxidermy peacocks. We also may wait to ship orders until Monday or Tuesday, so that the boxes aren’t stuck in transit over the weekend, which often results in rougher handling. Please allow two weeks.
In-store items: Some items are physically located in our store and must be transported to our warehouse for shipping. Please allow two weeks.
Backordered items: If your order contains any items that are temporarily out of stock, we will hold the entire shipment until all items are available. If your order is time sensitive, please let us know and we’ll work with you to find a solution!
My order is damaged or incomplete. What should I do?
We do our best to pack every order carefully, but – sadly – some items won’t survive extra rough handling. Please refer to our Return Policy for instructions on how to proceed.
I live outside the US. Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Please refer to our International Shipping page for more information.
My order is a gift. Can I include a note and make sure prices are omitted from the package?
Absolutely! Please tell us what you’d like us to write in the “Order Comments” section at checkout and we’ll include a handwritten note. All our orders ship with packing slips, not invoices, so prices are never disclosed to the recipient.
I ordered an oversized (freight) item. What should I expect?
Some of our items are larger than life! In these cases, we usually need to build a wooden crate and make delivery arrangements via truck. Please allow 4-8 weeks. The shipping charges for most freight orders is $500-$1,500, depending on size, fragility, and distance.
