The Science

This mollusk is known by many names-- Leopard Snail, Tiger Nassarius Snail, and Ivory Whelk Snail to name a few. Whatever you choose to call it, you'll find it burrowed in the sand of marine coastal waters. It's a source of protein as well as a component in some perfumes and medicines. 

The Story

The Spiral Babylon is found throughout the Indo-Pacific.
