The Science

We use farm raised butterflies for our framed specimen, but sometimes, we may receive a damaged specimen or parts make fall off while we frame them. Rather than throw out perfectly good pieces, such as these beautiful butterfly wings, we've found a way to save them for our customers to enjoy! We've delicately placed them in these clear vials in order to make sure that the scales of the wings do not rub off, making this a perfect display to study the intricate beauty of butterfly wings from all over the world.
