Cobra Vertebrae Bracelet

The Science

Cobras are part of the Naja genus. These snakes inject venom into their prey through their hollow fangs. They are native to Africa and Asia, and the word "Naja" comes from the Sanskrit for "hairless". Cobras are distinguished from other snakes by their ability to raise themselves up off the ground and flatten their necks, creating a "hood" that makes them appear larger and more threatening.

The Story

Cobras are a common food source in many parts of the world, and the vertebrae used to make this jewelry is a byproduct of the food industry. Our Cobra Vertebrae Bracelets are adjustable to easily slip on to any wrist and are available in two colors - natural and black. Complete the look with our matching Cobra Vertebrae Necklace!

I was wondering if the bone would be dyeable. I think some other subtle colors would be really nice!

I absolutely LOVE my new bracelet! I ordered the black colored one and i think i made the right choice. You cant tell its bone right off hand, and i figured the white might get dirty. It is VERY strong, i was surprised. It seems it will not break if i am careful. Evolution has been my favorite store since i was 14 and you guys were on Spring st. Keep up the good work!!! -Ashley
