HUMAN FETAL SKULL (REPLICA) - Homo sapiens
The Science
The skull is the bony structure in the head of many animals. It supports the structures of the face and forms a cavity for the brain. It is composed of two parts: the cranium and the mandible. Animals with skulls are called “craniates”.
The Story
These Human fetal Skulls were cast from genuine specimens at about the ages of 26, 29, and 32 weeks of development. Bearing extremely fine detail, they have been hand-finished to give them the look of the antique pieces found in Anatomical Museums and collections around the world. They would make excellent additions to any osteological collection, or a truly unusual piece of home décor.
The Evolution Store also carries genuine human skulls available to members of the medical community!
