These handsome slabs have been cut from pieces of of Picture Sandstone, a remarkable material originating at the border of Arizona and Utah, USA. Dating from some 120 million years ago, the sandstone is swirled with stripes of iron oxides, and when cut reveals decorative patterns resembling remarkable landscapes and vistas.
THE STORY
These sandstone slabs are quite light and have this unique granular texture to them. These slabs beautifully showcase the mesmerizing swirls in the stone that almost look like a landscape painting.
