Snake's Head Cowrie

The Snake’s Head Cowrie is found from the Red Sea and down throughout the West Pacific. A glossy warm brown shell speckled with spots on top and a cream-colored underside, it feeds on seaweed and is plentiful in shallow coral reefs

Seashells have been collected and used for jewelry and decor throughout human history. They are very popular as gifts, and are fun to collect and admire!
