The Science

The white-tailed deer is also known as the whitetail or Virginia deer. It is native to North America, Central America, Ecuador, and South America as far south as Peru and Bolivia. They are distinct thanks to their white underside. Their weight and size varies greatly, anywhere from 150 lbs to 400 lbs.
