The Science

Amethyst is a rare, violet variety of quartz. It's formed in voids underneath volcanic rock. The majority of amethyst is found in South America, specifically Brazil and Uruguay.

The Story

These Amethyst chips have been tumbled and placed for display in a vial. Each small group (of about six to ten pieces) comes in a vial for display. Easily taken out for closer inspection, these genuine rocks make fantastic gifts! Each vial contains beautiful natural variations, from white to dark purple. We have many other crystal vials available - collect them all!
