Western Diamondback Rattlesnake – Crotalus atrox
Rattlesnakes are notoriously venomous, capable of felling their prey with a fatal poisonous bite. These reptiles are known for the distinctive rattle which adorns their tails, whose menacing sound serves to deter larger predatory animals.
These dangerous creatures are commonly featured in American books and movies, and with good reason! Highly venomous and able to grow up to 5 feet long, diamondback rattlesnakes are one of the most famous venomous creatures in the southern United States and in Mexico. Their skins are famously used in western fashion and represent a popular aspect of Americana style. Our taxidermy mounts of these rattlesnakes are available in different sizes, in various positions, cowpie or mid attack, all displaying their vicious fangs. A perfect addition to any cabinet of curiosities or snake collection!
