Man-Eating Piranha – Pygocentrus natteri
Piranhas are members of a family of omnivorous freshwater fish. They are native to South America and their natural habitat is rivers. In Venezuela, they are called “caribes”. They are renowned for their sharp teeth and aggressive appetite for meat.
Our Man-Eating Piranhas have been expertly preserved. They jaws are wide open, exposing their razor-sharp teeth. Each piranha has been mounted on a wooden stand and is supported by two wooden beads.
The Evolution Store also sells fish preserved in resin!
