Tessellate Cone
The Tessellate Cone, a small white shell with dashed orange marks and a touch of lilac at the shell’s anterior opening, is among the most widely distributed of the cone shells, found from the waters of Mexico to Africa to the Indo-Pacific and Western Pacific. Like all cone shells, the live animal is venomous and armed with a powerful sting – however, ours are perfectly safe to handle!
A pretty and unusual little shell, it makes a great gift or accent of color.
