The Science
Morpho achilles is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It's also known as the Blue-Banded Butterfly because of its distinctive aqua streak. It's named after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, and Achilles, a hero of the Trojan War.
The Story
All our framed insects are mounted and framed in Upstate New York. We model our frames from fine ashwood, and they’re available in both a matte-black, and a natural finish.
