COMMON GREEN BIRDWING BUTTERFLY WING EARRINGS - ORNITHOPTERA PRIAMUS POSEIDON
Ornithoptera priamus poseidon is a widespread species of birdwing butterfly found across much of Southeast Asia. This species is named after Priam, the reigning king of Troy during the Trojan War. The topsides of the males’ wings are a striking combination of electric lime-green and velvety black, while their undersides are a dark bluish-green.
These earrings feature genuine common green birdwing butterfly wings. The bezel is cast from genuine sterling silver, and the wings are encased between two panes of glass so that the coloration and patterning on both sides of the wings can be viewed.
